Fiona Saxton - Massage and Acupuncture

Fiona Saxton is a skilled Remedial and Relaxation Massage Therapist, Acupuncturist, Yoga Teacher (200 hrs), and Usui Reiki Level 2 practitioner. She began her career in 2007 as a relaxation massage therapist at a boutique day spa in the beautiful Blue Mountains.

After completing her Diploma in Remedial Massage in 2009, Fiona pursued studies in acupuncture and Chinese medicine, earning a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture in 2020. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).

Fiona understands that our busy Western lifestyles often keep us in a constant state of “flight-or-fight.” She believes that we all need time to relax, regenerate, recover, and heal. Her primary therapeutic goal is to relax both the body and mind by combining gentle remedial techniques with soothing Swedish and Hawaiian-Kahuna style massage. She blends evidence-based practice with intuition, compassion, and Reiki’s healing energy.

In her acupuncture practice, Fiona aims to provide you and your body with the time and space to rest, feel nurtured, and recover, enabling you to return to daily life feeling stronger and more capable, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Fiona states, “While I enjoy the challenge of understanding your symptoms and finding the cause and remedy, my favorite treatment is the one that leaves you feeling relaxed, nurtured, and deeply rested. Some of my clients describe it as an ‘out-of-body’ experience because it helps the busy mind slow down and connect with the soul or spirit. It’s like meditating without having to learn how— a deeply restorative treatment to receive.”
